Presenters: Nancy Uhl- Assistant Director of Instructional Design, Joe Seijo- Instructional Designer, Beth Gordon-AVP of Academic Technology, John Blackwell-Manager of Academic Technology) 

Session Summary: A panel of faculty support members will discuss their roles, how they collaborate with each other, and the process faculty should follow when developing a course. An overview of current training sessions offered to faculty will be discussed with an emphasis on the initiative to follow Quality Matters best practices in course design

Presenters: Samantha Goldstein- Director of Client Relations at All Campus, Jaime Pober-Executive Director of Pace Online 

Session Summary: This session will describe the partnership between All Campus and Pace including overview and brief history of All Campus. A draft of the upcoming Online.Pace.edu website will be showcased.

1:45-2:45 pm Best Practices and Approval Process 

Presenters: Nancy Hale-Executive Director of  PESP New Program Development and Strategy, Joe Seijo-Instructional Designer, Nancy Uhl-Assistant Directory of Instructional Design 

Session Summary: This session will provide an overview on rules and policies around using copyright materials in online courses. Additionally, best practices in launching a new online program, obtaining approval by NYSED, and NY-SARA reporting will be discussed.

Presenters: Whitney Kilgore-CAO of iDesign, Tricia Vogel- Assistant Director of Academic Planning and Operations,  ProctorU 

Session Summary: The session will provide a wide range of options for creating efficient assessments in online courses. Dr. Kilgore will provide ways to effectively assess online students without using traditional methods. Proctor U will provide a demo on their proctoring services.
